Retail Pharmacist - Keno, Oregon

This opportunity is for a Retail Pharmacist to support a health system in the Klamath Falls, OR area. The role involves essential pharmacy responsibilities in a fast-paced retail setting, with coverage across multiple nearby locations within approximately 5 miles. The position is a 13-week contract, ideal for those with a flexible and professional approach to pharmacy practice.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday-Friday: 7:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required
• Floating between several pharmacy locations within the health system

Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately fill prescriptions in compliance with all regulations
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Provide expert counseling to patients on both prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medications, interactions, and protocols to ensure safe and effective patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• Availability to work full-time including weekends and float across multiple sites
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
