Schedule and Location:

Based in Lake Charles, LA
Multiple shifts available, including varying day or evening hours
Shift lengths range from 8 to 12 hours, with options such as 7AM-3:30PM, 1PM-9PM, 11AM-9PM, and 7AM-7PM, among others

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee medication preparations
Collaborate effectively with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
Provide pharmacokinetic services and clinical support
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system proficiently

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Louisiana Pharmacist license
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Strong communication and organizational skills
