IV Sterile Compounding Inpatient Pharmacist in Lakeview, OR

This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience seeking a rewarding role in a critical access hospital setting. The position offers day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the staff pharmacist providing pharmaceutical care in a 25-bed critical access hospital (daily census approximately 10 beds)
• Manage medication order entry using Cerner electronic health records system
• Perform sterile compounding adhering to USP 797 clean room guidelines to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Coordinate with pharmacy technicians (typically 2 on-site daily) and utilize Omnicell automation for efficient medication dispensing
• Fill in on a PRN basis for designated weeks throughout the 13-week period, supporting continuity of care within the hospitals pharmacy operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacy license required
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Competency in sterile compounding according to USP 797 standards
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR and Omnicell automation preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
