Per Diem Pharmacist - Lakewood, NJ

A medical supply company requires a licensed pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for ongoing operational support. This per diem role involves approximately 1 hour of work per week to ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to shipping prescription products to Montana.

Location: Lakewood, NJ
Schedule/Hours:

• Approximately 1 hour per week

Responsibilities:

• Function as PIC for mail-order pharmacy operations without needing a Montana license, holding an active pharmacist license in any state
• Oversee appropriate documentation, labeling, and recordkeeping for shipments to Montana patients
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements related to mail order prescription shipments
• Verify ability to identify Montana patients and track the legend products dispensed, including timing
• Collaborate with the company on business arrangements to fulfill PIC duties effectively

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in any U.S. state
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations regarding mail-order pharmacies and prescription shipment requirements
