Staff Pharmacist - 12 week Contract Full Time, Lancaster, OH

RPh on the Go is seeking two experienced Staff Pharmacists for a 12-week contract assignment in a hospital setting. This is a daytime shift opportunity working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication management for inpatient populations.
Schedule

MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Rotating every 6th weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Verify inpatient medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide oversight and verification of sterile and non-sterile compounding processes
• Support code situations and collaborate with nursing and provider teams
• Dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols
• Provide patient education as needed
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Work Environment

Setting: Hospital
Pharmacy System: Cerner (training available)
Automation: Pyxis
Team Size: 19 Pharmacists, 22 Technicians

Requirements

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License (required)
• Prior inpatient hospital experience
• Experience with Pyxis automation systems
• Familiarity with Cerner (training provided if needed)
• Experience with sterile compounding preparation
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
