This per diem role offers an opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to support mail order pharmacy operations during scheduled shifts in Lancaster, PA. The position involves entering prescriptions, responding to email requests, and preparing orders alongside a full-time technician who assists with packing, shipping, and system tasks. This role requires attention to detail and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule:

  • June 18: Half day, 12:00 PM 4:00 PM
  • June 19, 22, 26: Full days, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter prescription orders into the system
  • Respond promptly to pharmacy email requests
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy technician in order picking and packing
  • Assist with warehouse and pharmacy system maintenance as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license
  • Minimum 1 year recent experience in retail or mail order pharmacy settings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing mail order prescriptions
