We are seeking experienced Pharmacists for a 13-week contract opportunity with the potential for direct hire. We have 2 openings available in a Long-Term Care (LTC) Mail Order pharmacy environment.

Position Details:

Setting: LTC Mail Order Pharmacy
Contract: 13 weeks with possible direct hire opportunity
Schedule: Rotating 1st/2nd Shift + rotating weekends
1st Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Pharmacy System: Frameworks
Pay: $60+/hour

Job Responsibilities:

Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
Dispense medications according to prescriptions and LTC pharmacy standards
Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and update therapy records
Perform medication regimen reviews to support safe and effective patient care
Identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related issues for LTC residents
Provide drug information and support to nurses, caregivers, and healthcare teams
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient medication management
Ensure compliance with state/federal pharmacy regulations and LTC standards
Manage workflow queues, verify orders, and support high-volume mail order processing

Required Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License
Pharmacy experience required (Retail or Long-Term Care)
LTC experience preferred
PharmD a plus
Frameworks experience preferred but not required
