Inpatient Pharmacist - Lebanon, Oregon

A hospital inpatient pharmacist position is available on a contract basis for 13 weeks, starting ASAP. This role involves working a night shift schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC, requiring familiarity or willingness to quickly adapt.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify medications for inpatients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication therapy
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication monitoring and patient counseling
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Utilize EPIC for medication order review, documentation, and communication

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required at the time of application
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations and protocols
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
