A busy outpatient pharmacy in the downtown Kansas City area is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical services. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate prescription verification and optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment adjacent to the main hospital building.

Location:

• Kansas City, MO (Lees Summit vicinity)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts

Duration:

• Initial 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, check, and accurately fill outpatient prescriptions
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications to enhance understanding and compliance
• Provide oversight and guidance to Pharmacy technicians to maintain quality standards
• Utilize EPIC pharmacy IT system for daily operations and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Approximately 1 year of professional pharmacy experience, preferably in outpatient or hospital pharmacy settings
• Active Missouri Pharmacist license or the ability to obtain licensure promptly
