Hospital Pharmacist - Levittown, Pennsylvania

A clinical pharmacy opportunity is available for pharmacists interested in working across multiple acute care settings, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU). Responsibilities:

• Enter, verify, and review medication orders for clinical appropriateness.
• Provide drug information and clinical services tailored to patient needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and clinical rounds within assigned units.
• Monitor drug therapies and manage pharmacist-led consults per established protocols.
• Engage in acute patient care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma within ED/CCU settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency or a minimum of three years of current clinical pharmacy experience.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain licensure.

Schedule:

• Mainly day shifts, 8-hour variable days and afternoons.
