Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | Levittown, Pennsylvania

A healthcare facility in Wellsville, NY is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist for a 16-week travel assignment starting November 2nd through February 20th. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services, including verifying intravenous medications to ensure patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Schedule:

• Day shifts rotating between 7:00 AM 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• One weekend per month
• Required holiday coverage (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify intravenous medications and other inpatient prescriptions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical pharmacy services
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
• Support safe and effective medication use for inpatients

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or clinical pharmacy experience
• Active pharmacist license in the applicable state or eligibility for licensure
• Strong knowledge of inpatient medication therapies and IV preparation
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
