IV Compounding Retail Pharmacist | Lexington, North Carolina

This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience interested in expanding their skills in a specialty retail environment focused on sterile and non-sterile compounding. The position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with a 13-week duration and the potential for direct hire.

Location: Lexington, NC
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately within a specialty retail pharmacy setting
• Perform non-sterile and sterile compounding following established protocols
• Utilize PK pharmacy software (similar to QS1) for medication order entry and inventory management; comprehensive training will be provided
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide outstanding customer service and medication counseling

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacy license
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience required, preferably in retail
• Experience in sterile compounding is a strong plus
• Experience in non-sterile compounding is also highly desirable
• Ability to adapt quickly to new pharmacy systems and workflows
