A rewarding opportunity is available for a night shift pharmacist at a 120-bed Level III trauma center in Norfolk, NE. This role offers an engaging environment supporting critical inpatient care with a schedule designed for work-life balance: seven consecutive nights on, followed by seven nights off, from 8 pm to 7 am.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate medication orders and perform kinetic dosing to ensure accurate therapy.
• Prioritize medication checking prior to distribution to maintain patient safety.
• Provide timely answers to nursing staff medication queries.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities during the night shift.
• Manage outpatient prescription filling for Emergency Department patients overnight.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession of a Nebraska pharmacist license is required.
• Minimum one year of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is advantageous; training will be provided.
• Previous experience working with Pyxis automated dispensing systems is beneficial.
