Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Lititz, PA

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available to support a 160-bed community hospital in Lititz, PA, starting ASAP for a 13-week assignment. This role offers a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment with a focus on patient care and collaboration.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure safe dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage workflow
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapies
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize patient dosing
• Utilize hospital systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Some exposure to chemotherapy medication preparation and handling is ideal
