Licensed Retail Pharmacists are needed for both direct hire and 13-week contract opportunities in retail pharmacy settings. These roles offer the chance to deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with pharmacy teams, and manage medication dispensing in a fast-paced community environment.

Job Type: Contract to Hire 13-week contracts and direct hire positions available
Schedule:

• Full-time schedules
• Day and evening shifts
• Weekday and weekend availability, aligned with typical retail pharmacy hours

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications
• Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions
• Perform prospective drug utilization reviews
• Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-led clinical services as applicable
• Communicate medication-related questions with prescribers
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate prescription and pharmacy records
• Support pharmacy technicians and collaborate with pharmacy team members
• Assist with workflow management and daily pharmacy operations
• Deliver excellent patient-centered customer service

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice
• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Previous retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient counseling abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
• Immunization certification preferred; may be required depending on assignment
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
