Oncology Hospital Pharmacist | Littleton, Colorado
An opportunity is available for an Infusion Pharmacist specializing in oncology and infusion medications. This role supports an outpatient/ambulatory division, focusing on delivering safe and accurate pharmaceutical care to patients undergoing infusion therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders, focusing on hazardous and non-hazardous oncology/infusion medications.
- Dispense medications accurately, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and order management.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in Colorado with current, active license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in infusion pharmacy; oncology chemotherapy experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with handling hazardous medications and infusion protocols.
- Proficient in using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
Schedule:
- Contract position, starting 9/28 for approximately 13 weeks.
- Work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
