Travel Retail Pharmacist - Liverpool, NY

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist in an outpatient retail pharmacy setting, primarily based in Cooperstown, New York. The role includes occasional coverage at nearby Oneonta and Delhi locations to support vacation and sick leave needs. This is a full-time, contract position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include managing a high-volume retail pharmacy operation dispensing approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly. As the second pharmacist on site, you will provide excellent customer service, support the Meds to Beds program, and offer immunization services. The role requires using the PioneerRx Pharmacy Management System alongside the EPIC EMR system for demographic and insurance data. No sterile compounding or chemotherapy is involved.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy practice
• Preferably experienced in high-volume dispensing environments
• Familiarity with PioneerRx Pharmacy Management System preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Comfortable participating in Meds to Beds programs
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service
• Flexibility to provide coverage at additional locations as needed

Location: Cooperstown, New York, with occasional travel to Oneonta and Delhi.
