Travel Retail Pharmacist | Lockport, New York

This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Staff Pharmacist in an outpatient retail pharmacy setting with a reputable and stable healthcare system in Cooperstown, New York. The position primarily serves a high-volume pharmacy filling approximately 1,100 prescriptions per week, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a full-time, contract basis.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications efficiently and accurately, providing immunization services, supporting the Meds to Beds program for hospital patients, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires collaboration within a team of pharmacists and occasional travel to nearby locations for coverage.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with high-volume dispensing operations preferred
• Exposure to PioneerRx pharmacy management system and EPIC EMR system favored
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain it
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at Oneonta and Delhi locations as needed
