Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Long Beach, CA

Location: El Centro, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 10-hour shifts (four days per week)
• Shared on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Manage pharmacokinetics and monitor therapeutic drug levels
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system for documentation and order processing

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings
• Strong clinical and communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams
• Ability to start promptly and adapt quickly to new workflows
• Proficiency with Cerner highly preferred
