Long Term Care Pharmacist in Madison, WI

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist specializing in Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy services. This contract role is based in Madison, WI, offering a 13-week assignment with a schedule geared toward work-life balance.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive medication order entry using QS1 software in a Long Term Care specialty environment.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and review of prescriptions aligned with patient care standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacological therapies for LTC residents.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current Wisconsin pharmacy license is required.
• Experience in retail or Long Term Care pharmacy settings.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy order entry system.
• Strong understanding of LTC pharmacy workflows and patient care.
