Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Madison, Wisconsin

Opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to provide critical hospital pharmacy services in Wisconsin on a travel assignment. This role offers the chance to support patient care in a 250-bed facility with a dynamic schedule and advanced pharmacy technologies.

Location:

• Marshfield, WI

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Shift rotation between 2nd shift (12:00 PM 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Workweek typically begins on Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care in a hospital environment
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication order processing and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and safety standards
• Provide clinical expertise and support during shifts to meet patient needs effectively

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license or willingness to obtain the Act10 temporary license (accepted for this role)
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems is highly desirable
• Ability to manage rotating shifts and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
