Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Manchester, NH
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. The position requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inpatient medication orders and ensure accurate dispensing and administration.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support pharmacy operations independently during rotating weekend shifts.
- Utilize Meditech and Omnicell systems for medication management and inventory control.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work independently, especially on weekends.
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system is highly desirable.
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing technology is a plus.
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills to support multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Typical weekday shifts from 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 or 5:00 p.m.
- Rotating weekends every third weekend, with shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Location: This position is based in a rural hospital setting, serving the Berlin, NH area. Candidates should be prepared for the unique challenges of rural living, including housing considerations.
