Pharmacist - Marietta, Georgia

A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available for approximately two months, offering a critical role in managing order verification and dispensing responsibilities. This contract position based in Marietta, GA, provides a chance to support pharmacy operations by addressing a backlog and ensuring timely medication distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Dispense medications following established protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to catch up on backlog and maintain workflow.
• Participate in a comprehensive training period alongside current pharmacists.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Georgia is required.
• Possession of a Maryland license is advantageous but not necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling to meet operational needs.

Schedule:

• Initial training phase of at least 15 hours alongside existing pharmacists, scheduled between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm in half-day increments.
• Post-training, a 40-hour workweek with flexible shifts available across a 24/7 timeframe.
• Opportunity to work more than 40 hours per week if desired.
