Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Massillon, Ohio

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with extensive hospital experience ready to contribute in a fast-paced, complex medical environment. The role is based at a large 500-bed hospital and involves evening shifts with options for 4x10 or 5x8 schedules after initial training completed during day shifts. This travel position spans 13 weeks with potential for extension.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and verifying sterile compounding processes
• Managing medication order verification and dose checking
• Supervising Pyxis inventory and product checks
• Serving as a resource for patients, doctors, and medical staff by answering clinical questions
• Supporting IV room activities including ECMO and CRRT protocols
• Conducting consults and antibiotic dosing adjustments
• Documenting in the EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio Pharmacist license
• Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a large academic setting
• Proficient with EPIC EMR platform
• Familiarity with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations in critical care areas
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
