Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Massillon, OH

This opportunity calls for a skilled pharmacist to contribute to inpatient hospital care by managing medication dispensing and supporting clinical pharmacy services. The pharmacist will work approximately 40 hours weekly on varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility to cover a range of shifts is essential, with typical hours from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Weekend hours may vary based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately for inpatient use in the hospital setting
• Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing, with emphasis on vancomycin and warfarin management
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Document and maintain records in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards
• Provide medication education to clinical staff and patients as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with pharmacokinetic dosing, especially vancomycin and warfarin
• Experience with EPIC Willow Inpatient preferred but not required
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
