An established pharmacy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide PTO coverage on an ongoing, as-needed basis. This role requires a dependable professional to support safe and efficient pharmacy operations during scheduled shifts. The initial coverage date is August 7, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with future PRN opportunities available.

Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Type: Per Diem / PRN (Ongoing PTO Coverage)
Shift: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescriptions accurately for appropriateness and correctness
  • Provide patient counseling, primarily focusing on blood pressure medications
  • Maintain safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy operations during assigned shifts
  • Support pharmacy staff with any additional duties to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina pharmacist license in good standing
  • Proven experience verifying and dispensing prescriptions
  • Comfortable and confident in counseling patients on blood pressure medications
