Retail Pharmacist | Memphis, Tennessee

Licensed Retail Pharmacists are sought for both 13-week contract assignments and direct hire roles within fast-paced community pharmacy settings. These positions offer the chance to engage directly with patients while collaborating with pharmacy teams to deliver high-quality medication services.

Responsibilities include accurately reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on proper medication use and potential side effects, and performing prospective drug utilization reviews. Pharmacists will provide immunizations and other clinical services as applicable, communicate with prescribers on medication-related concerns, and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations. Maintaining precise pharmacy records, supporting pharmacy technicians, managing daily pharmacy operations, and delivering excellent customer service are also key duties.

Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice and have earned a PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program. Previous retail or community pharmacy experience is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Immunization certification is preferred and may be required depending on the assignment.

Schedules typically include day and evening shifts with weekday and weekend availability to meet retail pharmacy operating hours. Specific schedules will be discussed based on individual opportunities. Contract extensions may be available based on location and business needs.
