Hospital Pharmacist - Meridian, Idaho

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Meridian, ID. This contract position offers a chance to contribute to patient care in a focused hospital setting with a supportive team environment. The assignment begins ASAP and extends for 13 weeks or longer, working Monday through Friday during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to optimize medication management
• Conduct pharmacokinetic consultations to tailor therapy plans
• Utilize Cerner IT systems for documentation and order entry

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Idaho pharmacist license, or eligibility to obtain promptly
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in rehabilitation or acute care settings
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy systems is highly desirable
