Per Diem Pharmacist | Mesa, Arizona

This per diem pharmacist position offers the opportunity to work in a retail pharmacy environment located in Mesa, AZ. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive accurate and safe medication dispensing while providing excellent customer service.

Schedule & Hours:

• 5 days of coverage plus training
• 8:30 AM 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Verify patient allergies before dispensing any medication
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in accordance with policies
• Deliver excellent customer service to promote positive patient experiences

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system preferred
• Ability to work effectively alongside a pharmacy team composed of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Work Environment:

• Supportive team with one pharmacist and three technicians
• Manage a manageable daily prescription volume (under 100 prescriptions per day)
