Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours
• Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Weekends: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in the hospital setting
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care and dosing adjustments
• Utilize MedHost electronic medical record (EMR) system daily

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Arizona pharmacist license
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience with IV certification and hands-on practice
• Ability to work a demanding schedule while maintaining high-quality patient care standards
