A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist specializing in Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy. This role offers a 13-week assignment based in Middleton, WI, focusing on providing expert pharmaceutical care in an LTC specialty environment. The pharmacist will be responsible for managing medication dispensing, order entry, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and enter medication orders using the QS1 system.
  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services to LTC patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapies.
  • Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Participate in rotating weekend shifts as scheduled.

Qualifications:

  • Current Wisconsin pharmacy license required.
  • Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings.
  • Proficient in QS1 pharmacy software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am 6:00 pm, with rotating weekends.

Schedule:

  • Day shift: 8:30 am 6:00 pm
  • Monday through Friday
  • Rotating weekends
