Retail Pharmacist in Milford, PA

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist seeking a direct hire position in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This role offers variable day and afternoon shifts with a bi-weekly schedule of approximately 69 hours and an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with the store operations team and communicate company strategy to pharmacy associates.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription dispensing through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance aligned with state and federal regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to drive profitability and prescription growth via clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with pharmacy leadership to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Align department objectives with key performance metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent customer service, providing healthcare counseling and resolving customer inquiries and complaints to build trust and loyalty.
• Supervise and support pharmacists and pharmacy associates, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and ensure the department is clean and orderly.
• Engage with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls promptly.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings is preferred
