An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacist specializing in Long Term Care Pharmacy to provide professional support in a contract role. This position offers an opportunity to work efficiently in a focused environment where verifying prescriptions and collaborating with pharmacy technicians are key responsibilities.

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Type: Contract (4+ weeks)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Pharmacy hours: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Work shifts available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with transportation assistance

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians to verify and process prescriptions accurately
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations for Long Term Care prescriptions
• Manage and resolve any prescription-related issues promptly to support patient care

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Pharmacist, with background in Long Term Care Pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate verification of prescriptions
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment, especially alongside pharmacy technicians
