Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Nashua, NH

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available to support inpatient pharmacy services at a hospital located in a rural setting in New Hampshire. This role offers the chance to work autonomously in a hospital environment that includes ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department units, ensuring diverse clinical exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications in a hospital setting with a focus on inpatient care.
• Support various departments including ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency.
• Operate pharmacy systems including Meditech for electronic health records and Omnicell dispensing technology.
• Work independently, especially during weekend shifts, providing clinical support and medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Comfortable working independently, especially during less supervised weekend shifts.
• Experience with Meditech electronic health records preferred.
• Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and protocols.

Schedule / Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM.
• Rotating weekends every third weekend.
• Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Location Details:

• Position is located in a rural area of New Hampshire.
• Candidates should be prepared for housing logistics, as accommodations may require additional planning.
• Immediate or ASAP start preferred.
