A 13-week+ contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist at a 200-bed community hospital located in New Albany, IN, a vibrant suburb just across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations with a focus on medication accuracy and safety within a collaborative hospital environment.

Schedule and Hours:

• Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts per week with an 8-day break after a 6-day work period

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance before dispensing
• Review sterile products prepared by pharmacy technicians and compound sterile products as needed
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage and document pharmacy operations
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards for medication handling and patient safety

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital or acute care pharmacy settings
• Knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and pharmacy safety protocols
