Inpatient Pharmacist | New Castle, Delaware

A clinical pharmacist position is available to support medication operations in a hospital inpatient setting in New Castle, DE. The primary responsibilities include managing medication needs for automated dispensing cabinets and initiating daily cartfill processes at multiple hospital locations. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy systems.

Location: New Castle, Delaware
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee medication dispensing operations for automated dispensing cabinets at hospital sites
• Initiate and manage daily cartfill procedures efficiently
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery
• Utilize hospital pharmacy IT systems, including Cerner and Omnicell

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold an active Pharmacist license in the State of Delaware
• Pharm.D. degree or B.S. in Pharmacy with equivalent relevant hospital experience
• Prior experience working in hospital inpatient pharmacy
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
