IV Sterile Compounding Inpatient Pharmacist - New Pine Creek, Oregon

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with experience in inpatient hospital settings and sterile compounding to work in a critical access hospital environment. Serving a small 25-bed facility with a daily census of around 10 patients, this role provides a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care with a close-knit pharmacy team.

Location: New Pine Creek, OR
Type: Contract to Hire (Per Diem for 13 weeks)
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the staff pharmacist, providing inpatient pharmacy services in a critical access hospital setting
• Fill in as hospital pharmacist for designated weeks within the 13-week period
• Manage medication order entry using Cerner system
• Utilize Omnicell automation for medication dispensing
• Collaborate with a daily pharmacy team consisting of 2 technicians to ensure safe and effective medication distribution

Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon pharmacy license
• Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy
• Proficiency with sterile compounding, adhering to USP 797 and clean room guidelines
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to work independently in a small hospital environment
