A pharmacist role is available offering a contract-to-hire opportunity in New York, NY. This position involves both mail order and retail pharmacy responsibilities, supporting patient care through comprehensive medication management and counseling.

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver proactive patient counseling and medication education via phone, addressing inquiries regarding new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use.
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, assess potential drug interactions and contraindications, and confirm dosing accuracy.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Possess a clear and active pharmacist license in the state of Idaho, or be willing to obtain licensure in Idaho.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively engage patients and healthcare providers.
• Experience in both mail order and retail pharmacy settings is highly beneficial.
