Inpatient Pharmacist in Newark, DE
A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available to support hospital inpatient pharmacy operations in Delaware. The role requires a qualified pharmacist with an active Delaware license who can ensure timely fulfillment of medication needs and manage automated dispensing cabinets effectively.
Responsibilities include maintaining operations for automated dispensing cabinets at multiple hospital sites, initiating daily cartfill processes, and collaborating with healthcare teams to support optimal patient care. Familiarity with hospital pharmacy IT systems such as Cerner and Omnicell is essential to perform daily duties efficiently.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Pharm.D. degree or B.S. Pharmacy with equivalent relevant experience
- Active and current pharmacist license in the State of Delaware
- Experience supporting hospital inpatient pharmacy operations and medication management
- Proficient with Cerner, Omnicell, or similar hospital pharmacy software systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medication handling
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
