Inpatient Pharmacist | Newark, Delaware
A clinical pharmacist licensed in Delaware is needed to support medication management within hospital inpatient settings. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with advanced healthcare technology systems and contribute to quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Location: Newark, DE
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of medication dispensing systems, including automated dispensing cabinets across multiple hospital sites
- Initiate and manage daily cartfill processes to ensure timely medication delivery
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain medication safety and compliance standards
- Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems to support pharmacy operations and documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Pharm.D. degree or B.S. Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience
- Current and active pharmacist licensure in the State of Delaware (required)
- Previous hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record (Cerner) and automated dispensing systems (Omnicell)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
