Chemo Pharmacist - Nipomo, CA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a pharmacist experienced in chemotherapy preparation to support an infusion center within an integrated health system on Californias Central Coast. This role involves working primarily in an Infusion Center setting, with occasional movement between two pharmacy locations approximately 20 miles apart, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Location:

• Nipomo, CA area with assignments in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous chemotherapy admixtures with precision and care
• Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards related to chemotherapy preparation
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Manage multiple pharmacy settings efficiently as needed

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Holds a valid California pharmacist license
• Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of 1 year of inpatient or infusion center pharmacy experience
• Solid background in chemotherapy/oncology admixture preparation
• Ability to work full time and demonstrate flexibility across multiple pharmacy locations

Contract Details:

• Initial duration of 13 weeks with potential for extension
