Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Night Shift Pharmacist in a 120-bed Level III trauma center in Norfolk, NE. This contract role supports critical inpatient and emergency department needs during overnight hours, ensuring safe and accurate medication use within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Location: Norfolk, NE
Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift, 8 PM to 7 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Responsibilities include:

• Validating medication orders and performing kinetic dosing adjustments
• Reviewing medications prior to distribution to patients
• Responding to nursing staff medication inquiries promptly and accurately
• Overseeing medication compounding during night hours
• Dispensing outpatient prescriptions for emergency department patients

Ideal candidates will have:

• An active Nebraska pharmacist license
• At least one year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records preferred; training available if needed
• Ability to work independently with pharmacy technician support throughout the shift
