Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Norristown, PA

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 160-bed community hospital located in Lebanon, PA. The position offers a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment with immediate start and a 13-week assignment. This role is ideal for pharmacists licensed in Pennsylvania who have hospital experience and want to broaden their expertise in a busy healthcare setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflow
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide clinical pharmacological advice
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Use EPIC and Pyxis systems to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Proficiency using EPIC electronic health records
• Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols preferred but not required
