Hospital Pharmacist - North Bend, OR

A Critical Access Hospital near the scenic Oregon Coast is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in a one-person pharmacy setting. Location:

• Situated near Coos Bay, Oregon, close to the stunning Oregon Coast
• Work in a 25-bed hospital serving a vibrant community

Schedule:

• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Fulfill the role of PIC, overseeing all pharmacy functions in the facility

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Oregon Pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Willingness to learn and grow in a permanent position with comprehensive training provided
• Experience or interest in working in a critical access hospital setting
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a solo pharmacy role
