Travel LTC Retail Pharmacist - North Liberty, Iowa

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in a specialty pharmacy setting located in Webster City, IA. This role involves utilizing your expertise in both long-term care and retail pharmacy environments to provide exceptional patient care and medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacist duties in long-term care and retail settings
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Counsel patients on medication usage and side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in immunization administration, if certified
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacist License or Iowa Temporary License
• Experience in long-term care and retail pharmacy practices
• Immunization certification is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
• Some weekends required
