Inpatient Pharmacist | Oak Park, Illinois

An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide expert inpatient care in a hospital setting. This contract position is located in Oak Park, IL, with a start date of October 26, lasting approximately 13 weeks. The shift schedule includes evenings from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with rotating weekend duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying and checking prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to support efficient medication management
• Conducting IV admixture checks to ensure safe preparation and administration of intravenous medications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
