Per Diem Pharmacist in Paoli, CO

This opportunity offers a dynamic role for a Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy connected with a hospital setting, located in Paoli, Colorado. The assignment is a per diem position covering a short-term need from September 21st through September 25th. You will be the lead pharmacist, managing the pharmacy operations with a supportive team that includes two full-time pharmacy technicians and minimal pharmacist overlap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Perform final verifications on dispensed medications
• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations independently, taking ownership of the workflow and patient care

Location:

• Paoli, Colorado (retail pharmacy associated with a hospital)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Colorado pharmacist license
• Recent hands-on pharmacist experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead pharmacy operations during the coverage period
