This per diem pharmacist position offers an opportunity to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a retail setting with flexible day shifts. The role requires strong experience in retail pharmacy operations and proficiency with Liberty order entry software. You will be the sole pharmacist on staff during your shifts, managing prescription volumes typically between 25 to 30 per day.

Location: Pearland, TX

Schedule / Hours:

  • Days, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Specific dates needed: August 18, 19, 31; September 1 and 2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process prescription orders using Liberty software
  • Manage prescription volumes efficiently while ensuring patient safety
  • Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and counseling
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
  • Work independently as the only pharmacist on site without technician support

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience required
  • Proficiency with Liberty order entry system is a must
  • Ability to work independently and handle moderate prescription volume
