A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support medication dispensing and patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications, counseling patients, and providing professional guidance regarding their medication regimens.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
  • Shift options: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper adherence to regimens
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pharmacist license for the state of Iowa (temporary IA license accepted)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach

  • Position based in Peosta, IA
