Retail Pharmacist | Peosta, Iowa

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert medication dispensing and counseling in a retail pharmacy setting. This role focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications, supporting patients with clear guidance on their treatments, and working closely under management supervision.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
• Shift options: 8:00am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely to all customers
• Counsel and advise patients on their medication regimens and any questions they may have
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations under management supervision
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active, clear Pharmacist license in the state of Iowa (Temporary IA Pharmacist license accepted)
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
